Frequently asked questions

What is a good running pace?
For recreational runners, 5–8 min/km is typical. Elite marathon runners run at about 2:50–3:00 min/km. Beginners often start around 8–10 min/km.
How do I convert pace to speed?
Speed (km/h) = 60 ÷ pace (min/km). For example, a pace of 6 min/km = 10 km/h.
