AbraCalc

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-24. Plain-English summary: the tools run in your browser, we don't ask you to sign up, and the only third party involved is the advertising that keeps AbraCalc free.

Who we are

AbraCalc (https://abracalc.com) is a collection of free, browser-based calculators, converters, generators, utilities and games, run by a small independent team. You can reach us through the suggestion form on our About page.

Data the tools collect

The tools themselves are client-side: the numbers and text you type are processed in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers. We do not require accounts and do not ask for personal information to use the tools. A few tools (for example "What is my IP") call a third-party API to show information about your own connection; those calls happen from your browser and are described on the tool's page.

Idea submissions

If you use the "suggest a tool" form, we store the text of your idea and, if you choose to provide it, your email address — solely so we can consider the suggestion and optionally reply. You can ask us to delete a submission at any time via the About page.

Cookies & advertising

AbraCalc is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Your consent choices

We obtain consent for advertising cookies through a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP), integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework and Google Consent Mode.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage for small preferences only — for example remembering your light/dark theme choice. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Children's privacy

AbraCalc is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
